Welcome to the Five Lands!  This is my third world I’ve created and the story will be a two part series.  I will likely continue to write about the characters in stand alone books after the Five Lands Saga is complete.  Although the plot line of a struggling young boy finding out he is more than meets the eye has been done many times, I think I added my own flare to this story to keep the seasoned fantasy reader intrigued.  The unique world, the magic, the setting, its all wrapped around a story that you will recognize, and yet find exciting and new at the same time.  Follow the links below to purchase the Kindles on Amazon.  I hope you enjoy them, and as always, would appreciate an open and honest critique of my work.  If you are reading this, than likely you are thinking about (or have already) purchasing one of my stories.  And for that I’m thankful.

  1. Did you draw the map yourself? It kinda looks like you did.

    • Yup….I created the world and map myself. I spent about six months creating the world prior to even writing the story. I have pages of content about all the kingdoms, political and economic structures….basically everything you can think of.

Just six months!? I’ve been trying to make a world like for ages! One of the things I’m stuck on is what to name it and how big it is. Any advice?

      • The sky is the limits, Ben. You can do anything with your world, that is the beauty of fantasy. Keep it simple and focus just on part of the world that your story takes place, that way you don’t have to create everything. What you see for my “world” is just a part of the total. “Kraawn” would similar to what we call a continent. If you do that, then its much easier to focus on the relative information to your story and you won’t be bogged down with trying to create an entire world, which would take way to long. Hope that helps. Did you finish book three yet?

  2. Enjoyed the books. Looking forward to book three.

    • Thanks Mark. I’m glad you enjoyed the books. Book three should be out this summer. I’m hoping sooner but it just depends how long the artwork and final editing takes me. Thanks for taking a chance on my books. I appreciate it.

  3. Yup! Finished it a while ago! Was not was I was expecting, but I still loved it!

    • Yeah…that has been the consensus. Glad you liked it though.
