What do you guys think of my new promotional banner for my Cavalier Trilogy?

Well, unfortunately, I’ve gotten no writing done in the past few months. My goal is still unwavering, to write my second Shadow Knight book staring none other than Jonas Kanrene. But I’m having some serious writers block and can’t seem to flesh out the foundation of a story. I just wanted to let you all know that I’m working on the bones of the novel, and as soon as I come up with something promising, I’ll let you know. Until then, try my other books if you have yet to read them. I’d love to know what you think. Stay tuned.

Well, as you all know, it’s been a crazy year. I’ve been spending my time relaxing and staying in, tying flies and working around some ideas for a new Jonas story. My last book, A Year of a Thousand Casts, was unique for me and a lot of fun to write. Now I’m ready to get back to my writing passion…the Fantasy Genre. My next book will be a Shadow Knight novel staring our favorite hero, Jonas Kanrene. The problem, of course, is that I don’t have the story fleshed out yet…so you’ll have to be patient with me. As usual, as I work through the process, I’ll keep you guys in the loop. As always, thanks for your continued support.

My new book, A Year of a Thousand Casts, is now available. Although not my typical genre, this book was a blast to write. I was able delve into my love for fly fishing, as well as shed some light on the difficulties of losing a loved one and the wonderful nursing profession, as well as all that they do to help others navigate some of the most difficult times in their lives. I really hope you give the book a try. And as usual, thanks for your support.

I’m still playing around with some final things on the cover and interior, but I’m quite happy with how it turned out. Now I need to read through it one last time, approve the cover, and publish. Not to much longer before you can read, A Year of a Thousand Casts.

Hey everyone…Its been a bit since I’ve added a post. I’ve been busy finalizing my new book, A Year of a Thousand Casts. I’m excited to say that the book is now in the final editing stages and I have the cover more or less done. I had this really cool picture that my wife took of me fly fishing the Lewis River just below the falls. I wanted to use the picture and contacted one of my artists that I use for my fantasy books, Mario Teodosio. He said he could manipulate the photo and change me into a woman, who is the main character of my new book. I was thrilled and thought it turned out pretty cool. I still might do a sort of water color effect on the final cover but the picture below gives you an idea of what it will look like. I’m hoping the book will be available by September.  This is obviously not a fantasy book but I’m hoping that some of my fantasy fans will give the book a shot when its done. As usual, stay safe and thanks for your support.

Hello everyone. If you have been following my blog then you know that I veered from my fantasy writing to work on a completely different story.  It’s been a lot of fun but I’m happy to say I finally completed the first draft.  So now I need to go through the editing stages, find a title, and publish. This will still take some time but it feels good to know that the basic frame of the story is now complete.  And for my fantasy fans, that means that soon I’ll be able to start my next Jonas book. I still have a ways to go on this new story but I thought I’d give everyone an update.

Hello everyone!  Amongst all the COVID frustrations the one good thing is I’ve been able to get a lot of writing done.  I’m happy to say that all I have left in my new book is the epilogue.  Once that’s done then I go through the editing process, beta reading, cover, and all the time consuming details to publish a book.  But I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.  This break from fantasy has been fun and exciting, and its helped rejuvenate my desire to start the next Shadow Knight book and get into what is going to happen to Jonas next.  Stay tuned and be safe.

If you’ve been following my blog than you know that I’m presently writing a story completely different than my fantasy stories.  I was a bit nervous tackling a non-fantasy book focusing on love, life, death, and healing, all centered around the sport of fly-fishing.  But I have to admit I’ve really enjoyed the process.  I am now nearly done with chapter five and its been going smoothly.  I’ve really dived into this story and its been exciting and intriguing writing something completely outside my normalcy realm.  Stay tuned, I have a feeling this story won’t take me as long as I originally expected.

For those who have been following my new adventure in writing, I am now nearly done with chapter two in my new book.  As I said previously, the writing has been slow but exciting.  It’s been fun changing directions and jumping off the Fantasy path and trying something new.  It’s been a challenge but I’ve enjoyed  delving into different themes like fly fishing, infertility, loss and healing; all things that bring a dynamic and interesting scenario for my protagonist.  Rest assured I’m pecking away and I’ll keep you posted as the story progresses.
